The drugs that were destroyed today were 8.2276g of opiates, 19.0247g of cannabis, a Dunlop adhesive can and 11.4755g of heroin.
Could you repeat that again? A can of Dunlop? Did I read that correctly? Yes, I am aware of the the type of drug abuse called Glue Sniffing. But what's the point in destroying it? Burning of the other drugs I can understand, but is the possession of Dunlop illegal now?
I think this is yet another case of system skewing up in Maldives. Or maybe the Committee on Destruction of Narcotics have inhaled too much fumes from their occasional bonfires.

I saw several cans of Dunlop in some hardware shops in Male'. Wonder if I should report this to the Police haahaaa... that poor Dunlop can.

You got it wrong mate. The police said the drugs they destroyed usually gave them an increase in high that felt like 39g's. Several times higher than those felt by fighter pilots doing tight corners.
